I believe in an integrative and holistic approach to psychotherapy to help clients feel balanced in mind, body and spirit. Depression, anxiety, addiction and trauma are realities of life we must contend with; however they do not have to define us. We can learn to live, thrive and cope with life’s challenges. We can grow from the painful experiences of our lives and transcend their impacts.

I help clients learn how to do this. We will work to address symptoms of anxiety and depression, reckon with grief and loss, addiction, and identify your passion and purpose in life. I help clients learn how to strengthen boundaries, improve communication and increase emotional expression. While my practice is open to all, I am particularly passionate about empowering young women by building confidence and strengthening a sense of Self. I also help expecting and postpartum mothers navigate the transition to motherhood.

As a certified yoga teacher, I use yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices to help clients’ gain a felt sense of wellbeing within the body. I have taught therapeutic yoga classes for mental health and chemical dependency patients at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, The Mental Wellness Center and Cottage Residential Center for over 7 years.  I completed my yoga teacher training in 2012 with Rodney Yee at Naada Yoga in Montreal, QC.

I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara in 2016 and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #122460. In 2021, I completed Postpartum Support International’s Perinatal Mood Disorders training to assist mothers and fathers with postpartum anxiety, depression and mood disorders.

I received clinical training at CALM Santa Barbara (2015), where I worked with children and families impacted by child abuse, sexual abuse and trauma. In addition, I completed my clinical training at Cottage Hospital's Psychiatric Nursing and Chemical Dependency Unit (2015), where I worked with severe and persistent mental illness and addiction as a case manager and group leader from 2015 - 2023.
